We have a lot of great independent fly fishing guides here in Xcalak. I am putting up profiles of the guides in this space. I have personally been out fishing with every one that is highlighted here so I can personally vouch for their expertise and professionalism.
Besides guiding, Alejandro also works fiberglass on boats. He has one of the most fly boats in Xcalak with a poling platform and a lean bar. Alejandro knows the fishery and handles his boat with expertise. His English is excellent. But most of all, he got me my first Super Grand Slam, with another Grand Slam on the same day. What else do you need to know?
