We have a lot of great independent fly fishing guides here in Xcalak. I am putting up profiles of the guides in this space. I have personally been out fishing with every one that is highlighted here so I can personally vouch for their expertise and professionalism.

Why did you start guiding? Casa Blanca in Ascencion Bay, needed a guide 22 year ago and they asked me if I wanted to become a guide. I said yes if there is a chance I’ll take it. That's the way I became a guide. I started at Casa Blanca but in my entire carrier I have guide for several lodges.
Do you tie flies? Used to but not lately.
