Scuba Diving

If Xcalak is known for anything other than fly fishing, it is as a destination for scuba divers. Being right on the Great Mayan Reef, the diving here is spectacular. You can see the giant tarpon at La Poza, and maybe meet a friendly manatee at Poza Rica. There are dozens of great dive spots within a few minutes boat ride.
